Part of the groundwork I'm doing before the release of the romance update rework, this change was made for a more authentic depiction of the relationship. - Serana no longer sneezes when she's a vampire. If she is far behind (beyond hearing/conversation distance) she will be teleported to a spot near the player that they can't see (so sort of like a catchup feature). The Romance Update is here! Additionally, messages will be displayed on screen indicating that Serana is guarded at the start, and the player needs to either spend more time with her or talk with her more to get her to open up. - Changed keyword for Crimson Blood armor from heavy to light, seeing as Serana specializes more in light armor use, in consideration that the armor was made for her, - Added an additional conversation with Serana when she actually wears the armor for the first time, - Updated sleep patch to accommodate 2.5 script changes, Completely rebuilt patch from the ground-up, - Added conditions to lover dialogue to not occur in dangerous places like caves and dungeons, - Certain measures put into place to prevent instances where Amorous Adventures hello dialogue would coincide with Serana Dialogue Add-On's. Tell other followers to wait in another room or far away when your character does their lovey-dovey business with the vamp. If Serana isn't close to you yet, you won't hear any MQ commentary at all. - Disabled some post-Harkon fight player dialogue, as one of those topics was already made redundant in recent updates, - Disabled "show on the road" dialogue as this has been largely been made redundant by new radiant dialogue recorded by Kerstyn, - Disabled Serana's lycanthropy dialogue, as a lot of the added quest commentary in 2.3 supersedes this thematically, - Disabled "I'd just enjoy watching you for a bit." - Once Serana is married (unofficially) the player is added into a custom Serana married faction, which prevents the vanilla marriage proposal dialogue from occurring with other NPCs. - Removed SDA Friendship requirement for the College of Winterhold commentary. - Added "What's On Your Mind" conversation for Ram Horn Witch to Drinking Buddies, - Papyrus Script Optimizations to reduce Papyrus Log errors, - (Beta to full release) Added in three missing voice lines. - Revoiced reactions to lockpicking objects. - Fixed sleep functionality for inns. - Disabled radiant lovemaking from occurring during Kindred Judgment. - Added in Papyrus log debug messages for the horse feature, to help troubleshoot additional issues. Serana Dialogue Add-On Version 3.3 NOW OUT IN OPEN BETA! It's intended for her to stop her headtracking and just look forward, which works sometimes. This makes things much more neat, organized, and official DLC-ey. - Serana can now sing two more songs: "The Dusk On Anvil Harbor" from Interesting NPCs (I got permissions! - The friendship variable is now optionally set through completing a set number of backstory dialogues with Serana. - Minor typo fix with Bolstering The Ranks quest, - Fixed NULL dialogue of that quest too (again), - Dialogue Tweak to one of player dialogue options in Chasing Echoes, - Added conditions for Isran dialogue not to appear when sided with the vampires. In later conversations, romance can still be opted out of, as usual. On the other hand for users who don't have Flower Girls installed, romance scenes will be implemented as fade-to-blacks with appropriate contextual messages. - Reduced frequency of pop culture/meme lines by -20%, - Reduced frequency of Serana singing by -5%. PLEASE heed this advice as if you don't, you might run into some weird and annoying wonkiness. - Sofia Banter now has a countdown timer. - Serana is no longer dismissed during The Silver Hand quest. of Amorous Adventures patch (for those who don't use Flower Girls). The player isn't her thrall or blood cow. - Backend functionality improvements to the "A Date at the Bannered Mare" quest to ensure it runs more smoothly. - Added in delays for the radiant lovemaking feature to only occur after the Unseen Visions quest. She will have radiant conversations with barkeeps and order drinks for herself. Fixed kiss scene in Serana Romance, so it occurs automatically instead of needing a manual activate from the player, Cut some lines from the Trust conversation that weren't needed and didn't make thematic sense (the lines where Serana asks for you to start your relationship with her again- from zero). A patch for the Relationship Dialogue Overhaul mod; this patch prevents dialogue overlap in a lot of Serana's radiant dialogue added by RDO, to ensure a consistent VA experience with Serana's radiant lines. Just speak to Serana (as long as you know the spell) and you can teach it to her right away. You can tell Serana to never equip it at all, or only to equip it if it's daytime and she doesn't have any other headgear. 4. ), - Added in a disclaimer when the mod is first run (basically saying that the full revoice isn't complete and that there are two Serana voices in the game), - Added a small message shown to the player once Serana is having her emotional breakdown at the Ancestor Glade, - Serana now comments whenever you do killmoves (this was initially a cut feature from a much earlier version of the mod but I was finally able to get it to work). Serana's Drinking Buddies and radiant love forcegreet timers (to start the features) have been changed from 2 to 5 days. - Removed vanilla bloodcursed arrows dialogue. If Serana wasn't talking with NPCs such as Ysolda, Carlotta, Lisette, etc she should be now! This is in line with the dialogue design choice for Serana (as at least during Dawnguard) Serana's non-radiant conversations were always able to be accessed by the player at any given time, given the natural dialogue conditions are met. - Added optional Amorous Adventures patch (for both Clean and Flower Girls versions). - Implementation of NPC Interaction Framework. Serana can now order drinks in taverns every now and then. - Changed some conditions with the Odahviig commentary scene to make sure it fires (this was finnicky for some users before, sometimes it was occurring after a considerable delay/fast travel), - More alternate voice script toggles have been added to make sure voice-over transition is more seamless, - Added alternate voice flags to dialogue that was supposed to have them before, - Serana's post MQ commentary now has a script setting the quest stage, that was supposed to be there before. So if you don't have the mod installed, the commentary should still run, but there will be a bit of a narrative disconnect. This has since been fixed. (These come enabled by default, but should the user not want to hear any lines from the new VA, they should type "Set SDA_AlternateVoice to 0" in the console), - Fuz'ed all dialogue lines from the beta. You can now ask Serana to sleep in any bed that is player-owned/unowned, considering there's one nearby. 1.0 RELEASE! - Reimplemented "What's on Your Mind" conversations, with better-written dialogue that supersedes the somewhat bland and one-note conversations that were previously there. - Serana's Raise Zombie toggles are no longer built into the mod, and now will require a patch via the SDA Patch Hub. - SDA On Location Change quest commentaries/scripts will no longer fire if the Serana Cure Quest is active. - (Vampire Only Side) Serana will no longer greet you right after starting "Chasing Echoes"- she should do it outside now. I mean, why wouldn't Serana, a mage, have more to say about this place? (However, due to how wonky vanilla radiant pathfinding is, I suggest you save before doing this; if Serana's AI messes up, you can reload the save and try again, or just pick a different option). - Dialogue line patch for Nether's Follower Framework to ensure the Serana lines for that mod fit their proper context and tone, thanks to some lines recorded by Kerstyn. Now when talking to her with this option, Serana's responses (28, chosen at random dependent on questline progress, surroundings, romance) should feel a lot more organic and authentic.
